Initially it was a small sketch I painted with acrylic paints almost two years ago. Eventually I got it scanned and just had the file hidden away amongst other insignificant works.
A few months ago I decided to finish this piece after all, made a lot of changes, added a background and additional lighting, well, finally got it finished.
Some people might wonder "Scarecrows are supposed to SCARE crows" Well, let's just say that this particular guy has the ability to hypnotize crows and control them as his minions.
Hope you'll like it.

Holy sheet that's awesome.
The shading and highlights are very impressive, especially on the Scarecrow's face...
Also, I'm more than amazed by that background!

You have wonderful skills, and you certainly know how to use them! Go you! :heart:

That's awesome! I love the shading, and the background, although being simple, is perfect for the pic :aww: At first sight it reminded me of an evil version of the Wizard of Oz scarecrow, but then inmediately my brain changed the image into the Medievil ones (I don't know if you know this game, probably yes ^^;) specially because of the face, the crow and the background =P Sorry surely it has nothing to be with those things, but my brain is stupid sometimes :brainless: xDD

It was obviously inspired from a cartoon or even a comic book... I can't remember tho, I have no clue, but it wasn't a game, I'm sure of that.
